On August 19, Plainview-Old Bethpage welcomed parents and families of our incoming kindergarten students at our annual Kindergarten Tea. This special event provided families with an opportunity to learn more about the District and important resources as they prepare for the start of the school year, including nutrition services, transportation, and school and district communication methods.
Families also had the opportunity to meet their building principals and assistant principals, as well as representatives from our PTAs and SEPTA, who shared information about the many ways families can become involved in their school communities.
We are excited to welcome our newest students and families to POB and look forward to a wonderful start to their kindergarten journey!
