Mattlin Students Show Their Pride Through Creative Window Designs

Students at Mattlin Middle School kicked off the excitement for Pride Week by showcasing their creativity and school spirit through a window decorating competition.

Working with their MAP classes, students designed windows throughout the breezeways of their respective houses to highlight what Mattlin PRIDE means to them. The school’s P.R.I.D.E. values — Personal Best, Respect, Impulse Control, Decision Making and Empathy — served as inspiration for the colorful and creative designs.

Students prepared their decorations during MAP and took part in an extended MAP window decorating day on September 18. One design from each house was declared the winning MAP window. The winning classes were announced during the morning announcements and earned a special bagel breakfast.
